The Capital Homeschool Athletic Program (CHAP) was founded in 2002 and has over 400 homeschool families with over 1000 kids participating in various sports for all ages, ranging from elementary to high school. CHAP is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and your gift is tax deductible. A copy of our 501(c)(3) form is linked below.
Basketball is our flagship sport and we are looking for help to support our program. All player registration and scheduling is done through our website. Therefore, during the basketball season there will be thousands of hits to our website by the hundreds of parents and children participating in our Boys Varsity, Boys JV, Boys Junior High, Boys Elementary and multiple Boys Youth teams, as well as our Girls Varsity, Girls Junior High, Girls Elementary and Girls Youth teams.
Donations play an important part in the success of our program. The Capital Homeschool Athletic Program is entirely self-supporting and receives no state funding. Thus, CHAP is only able to serve homeschool athletes through the generous giving of others. Your donation to CHAP affords players the opportunity to participate, practice and play in local, regional & national games and tournaments. Most importantly, donor contributions allow us to keep the costs affordable so more athletes are able to continue to enjoy all the wonderful benefits sports has to offer.
